Ribs:

  • American rib, whole, deboned 3 kg
  • Cola 1200 ml
  • Liquid smoke 10 ml
  • Brown sugar 250 g
  • Cider Vinegar 100 ml
  • Knorr Concentrated Chicken Bouillon (6x1L) 40 ml
  • Chipotle, paste 20 g

Maple BBQ Sauce:

  1. Ribs:

    • Place the ribs in a large oven dish, combine with the braising liquid, cover and cook in a preheated oven for 4 hours at 140°C.
    • Remove and place in a new tray and allow to cool, dice into 3cm pieces and place back in the oven, remove once the meat starts to crisp up.
    • Place the diced beef into the maple BBQ sauce to coat and heat through.
    • Serve in long rolls with salad and fries.
  2. Maple BBQ Sauce:

    • Combine all ingredients together, blend well and simmer for 10 – 15 minutes until thickened.
    • Serve with the cooked ribs.
    • Serve with a side of fries and salad.
