Mashed Potato with Fresh Herbs & Cheese:

  • Water, simmered 950 ml
  • Emmental cheese, grated 50 g
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated 80 g
  • Yoghurt, full fat, drained 60 g
  • Butter 30 g
  • Parsley, fresh, chopped 8 g
  • Zaatar, fresh, finely chopped 3 g
  • Salt 3 g
  • White pepper 1 g
  1. Mashed Potato with Fresh Herbs & Cheese:

    • In a pot, bring water to just below a simmer and whisk in Knorr Mashed Potato Flakes. Set aside allowing flakes to swell – 5 minutes.
    • With a rubber spatula, add cheeses, yoghurt, and butter to the potato mixture while it’s still hot. Mix gently until cheeses have fully melted and all ingredients are 80% combined.
    • Lastly, add herbs, and salt and pepper to taste.
    • Serve hot.
  2. Chef’s Tip:

    • Feel free to use whatever cheeses or herbs you have on hand. Great combinates like spring onions and cheddar, or dill with sour cream instead of yoghurt, and even rosemary and parmesan! Let your imagination take over.
