Orange Date Beer BBQ Wings
Dates used in savory preparations are a huge hit in menus. Combining it with BBQ sauce is a sure hit. In this recipe, we added orange flavour to cut through the sweetness and added beer flavour for boldness. We used a non-alcoholic beer to make this recipe Halal-friendly.

Orange Date Beer BBQ Sauce
Preparation

Sauce:
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Set aside and let it cool.

Chicken:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Place the chicken in a baking tray and drizzle with oil.
- Bake the chicken for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven. Brush the chicken with the BBQ sauce. You can also dip each wing in the sauce.
- Return the chicken into the oven and continue to bake for 10 more minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove from the oven. Brush the chicken with one more layer of BBQ sauce before serving.
