Smokey Yellow Lentil Soup:

  • Oil 50 ml
  • Onions, chopped 200 g
  • Garlic, minced 30 g
  • Carrot, chopped 80 g
  • Celery, chopped 60 g
  • Leek, chopped 60 g
  • Water 2500 ml
  • Red lentils 500 g
  • Turmeric powder 5 g
  • Cumin powder 3 g
  • Salt 10 g
  • Smoked paprika 2 g
  • Lemon, juice 20 ml
  1. Smokey Yellow Lentil Soup:

    • Saute onion, garlic, carrot and celery until translucent.
    • Add water and washed lentils and bring to a boil.
    • Add turmeric, cumin, Knorr Vegetable Powder, salt and smoked paprika.
    • Cook soup on medium heat until ready to blend.
    • Remove from heat and blend soup.
    • Put back on fire and simmer until right consistency.
    • Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
