  • Basmati rice. Half amount of lamb stock. 200.0 g
  • Hot Water 300.0 ml

Preparation

  2. The meat:

    90 minutes
    • Heat the oil in a large saucepan over high heat, then place lamb shanks in it and brown on all sides.
      Add the onion, carrots, capsicum and garlic and until softened.
      Add Kabsa spices mix and stirring well to coat all ingredients.
    • Add Knorr Demi-glace sauce and Knorr beef stock. Bring to boil. Place the lid and cook on low heat for 4 hours until the lamb is very tender.
  3. The rice:

    • In a saucepan pour the lamb stock and water add kabsa spices mix, bring to boil.
      Add washed and soaked basmati rice. Cook rice for 15-20 minutes.Taste and adjust seasoning.
  4. Spiced tomato sauce:

    10 minutes
    • To make a dakkous spiced tomato sauce. In a food processor add Knorr Tomato pronto, garlic, red cilli, vinegar season with salt and pepper.
